She reached me through the gas station phone where I ended up calling this company to service her. I asked the company their price before having them drive all that way. They insisted they need to go to the car first to inspect the situation before sharing price. Instead of calling me back as he agreed, he confused my girlfriend into thinking I paid for this service when I did not. He opened her car and put my 100 pound vulnerable girlfriend on the spot for a $200!! Charge. Not even a minute of time was spent unlocking this car and he avoided calling me for price approval. I reached this service twice and made it very clear I would like the price and was never called back. Fast forward: I called the guy to share my frustration, he lied and said my girlfriend agreed to this service before going forward. He did not, he plays games to reward himself money. There is no ownership for his actions. We are disputing this charge. Do not work with this company. Shouldn’t a lock smith have signed agreement and verification of a person before entering property? Not this guy.

Unbeknownst to me, he had called KeyMe to inquire about pricing. The technician refused to provide a price upfront, saying he would assess the situation first and then inform my boyfriend upon arrival because I had no phone. When the technician finally arrived, he approached me as if everything was already arranged—without ever disclosing the cost. Only after he completed the job (which took him three seconds using a simple pump) did he tell me the outrageous charge: $195. He didn’t have to travel far; he was just down the road. This business is completely non-transparent with pricing, and the service was absolutely not worth the cost. If I had known the price beforehand, I would have never agreed. This is a predatory practice, and I would love to get my money back. Avoid this company at all costs unless you want to be blindsided by excessive charges!
