We’ve been living here for less then 2 years and have already had our basement ceiling replaced once due to AC duct work condensation. Now we’re having to go through it again. The workmanship on these homes are terrible. Do not buy one of these homes!!!! Nothing but problems. Damn shame people pay $650,000 for these homes that will just fall apart around them

Enjoying our new home! Been here a little over a month with no issues. House is solidly built. I discovered that some of the sub contractors they work with also do work with some of the custom home builders in the area. Donnie is a complete ROCK STAR! John Ashworth with American Home Mortgage was a joy to work with. He is straight forward and made the whole process easy. Always available to answer my questions and gave me options instead of one path to consider. I did shop 2 other mortgage companies that I thought would give better service because of their size and popularity. Big mistake. They didn't come close to the experience I had with American Home Mortgage. Samantha Gerton, my sales person, was great to work with as well. From the beginning, she stood shoulder to shoulder with us. Every concern we had was noted and responded too in a timely manner. If she did not get an answer for us, she would follow up to let us know she was still working on it. She was the perfect conductor in this home purchase symphony, keeping everyone and everything in order for an on time delivery and settlement. This is the 5th home purchase for us and the best builder experience we've had over 25 years.

I can only say from an outsiders perspective I do feel like shortcuts were taken. Within the first year, they had to have outside foundational work and had to have pipe work inside. They also have one spot where the floor plank comes up. For a new home, there appear to be more imperfections than a new home buyer would care for. Although one would assume a new home wouldn't have issues, I would strongly suggest a home inspection.
