I'm positive they are a great firm. My case did not fall within the scope of expertise.

I would give this form no stars if I could. My father passed away in July 2020 who had several properties!!!! Probate in NJ took one month, probate in Florida took 2 months, so far probate in Nevada one year and half and it still is not done. We get no return phone calls, no updates, but he got $5,000 of our money. My niece, who is a lawyer in NJ, has been trying over and over to contact them to get an update - there is not even a professional return courtesy call!!! Next step - file a complaint with the State Bar of Nevada I posted this on 1/5/2023, it is 12/12/2023, still waiting for probate to be completed!!

My mother passed away in 2011 and my father passed away on April 2 of this year. My father assumed he had his affairs in order for his passing as he had a Deed Upon Death for his house prepared and recorded in 2012. We had the affidavit for the Deed Upon Death drawn up after my dad’s death and recorded. The deed of the house was then placed in my name and my husband’s name, jointly. When the estate attorney prepared the affidavit after my dad's death, we were informed that title companies in Nevada require an 18 month waiting period after an estate transfer, and that we would not be able to sell OUR property for 18 months. They suggested we contact a real estate attorney for direction. According to your website, you are real estate attorneys and have been for MANY years in Nevada. We called and talked to Taylor Simpson. You KNEW that no title company would insure this property for 18 months and Taylor should have been up front with us at our first phone call consult and told us he could not help us – instead of taking my dad’s money. He did nothing for us as we already knew we would probably have to wait 18 months....and so did Taylor, but he was deceptive and said he would "see" if he could find a title company. Bull....he heard that we were from Wisconsin and had never heard of this “unwritten law” and he KNEW that no title company would insure the property, BUT he took our money anyway. Easiest $1,500 he has ever made! I feel betrayed and it just heaps on more stress to an already stressful situation. I see that you are also business attorneys who are experienced in “deceptive or unfair business practices”. I find this action exactly this!! I’m appalled and sad at how we were taken advantage of. We were vulnerable and Taylor knew that. I’m upset and for lack of a more professional statement, it is just not fair. Shame on Taylor and shame on you for allowing it to happen in your firm. We expected some fee, but we never expected him to claim the entire $1,500. Also, before I wrote this review, I wrote to Mr. Kerr regarding this situation and my letter was ignored. Not even a response. Do not use this company. Very uncaring and deceptive.
