  We had never boarded a dog before and brought ours to Kennelwood based on the recommendations of several friends. The facility is clean and welcoming, and all of the staff are so kind. We chose the "patio" room so our dog could have access to a small outdoor area during the day. If we need to board again, we would not look elsewhere. Thank you Kennelwood for taking care of our girl and giving us peace of mind while we were away!

  Kennelwood on Kratky, top notch!! They treat my older dog with such kindness! Grateful she is safe when she is in their care! (Grooming, 5 stars! Day care, 5 stars!)

  Another great stay for my little dogs. We had emergency situation and I called Kennelwood to ask can I bring my babies. Resort immediately responded and took them under their care. We are very happy with they service. Thank you very much!

  I have to take back my 5 star review. My dogs were there for boarding, playtime and spa - the works. They came back both with hot spots and infections! I called the manager who asked me to text pics, and I never heard back. I left messages asking where I should send the vet bills because they include dog health insurance in the cost of boarding. Really a horrible experience. Both need antibiotics. Cannot recommend.

  I spoke with Kennelwood by phone and told them my dogs breed before I made reservations. I also sent them his vaccination records with his breed noted a day prior to his scheduled stay. I had scheduled for my dog to have daily play time with other dogs. He is highly social and loves other dogs. When I brought him into the facility, we again went over expectations and he was scheduled for doggy playtime four hours a day. . A day and a half after he was at the facility while I was out of town, I received a call from kennelwood that he would not be allowed to interact with other dogs because of his breed.. I told them he was gentle and loved other dogs..they responded that was just their policy. My dog was locked in a cage the whole time. Had I known that would happen I would not have taken him there. They knew in advance his breed and also reviewed the planned playtime with me while looking right at him. It appears they just tell you what you want to hear to get the business and tell you differently after the fact when you can’t do anything about it. I was also told I had to pick him up by 3pm or I would be charged an extra day. I picked him up at 2pm and was still charged for an extra day. When I questioned it, they said he had to be picked up by noon. That was not what I had been told prior to dropping him off. I will not use Kennelwood again.
