About

Church
*Please visit the temple website for open hours and appointments.* Temples of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints are considered houses of God, a place of holiness and peace separate from the preoccupations of the world. They provide a place where Church members make formal promises and commitments to God. They are also the place where the highest sacraments of the faith occur — the marriage of couples and the "sealing" of families for eternity. Temples serve as the only place where ceremonies such as baptism and eternal marriage can be performed on behalf of those who have died. Temples point Latter-day Saints to Jesus Christ and their eventual life with Him.

Take children here to walk around the grounds. Peaceful and serene.

What a beautiful and majestic temple! We visited on a Monday so it was closed, but we met this wonderful couple in the next door Stake Center parking lot that were out walking their grandchildren and had a nice conversation with them. I was pleasantly surprised that a Tesla Supercharger was close by with a beautiful view of the temple as we charged up! I wish we could have walked the sacred temple grounds and gotten a few pictures, but I still enjoyed our brief visit. Beautiful!
