Jonz was good to work with. We booked Jonz for our wedding at Lakewold Gardens and all the staff was professional. We communicated a ton with Kelly throughout with no issues. The highlight was the pork belly lollipops and the candied salmon apps. Skip the spring rolls—they taste ok but were very big, not very elegant for wedding. The downside is that the apps were much better than the buffet food options. We had the iron steak w red wine and the chicken breast with wine white reduction—both were dry, especially the chicken.

Couldn't be happier that we chose Jònz to cater our event - the opening night of a three day conference, hosted at the Museum of Glass. I am not local to the area and relied heavily on reviews to make my decision, so it's only fair that I contribute my own. Kelly, the catering director, took the time to understand our needs from the very beginning so their initial proposal was well aligned and her quick, clear, and flexible communication throughout gave me confidence that we were ready to welcome our guests to Tacoma. Great food, flexible ordering and efficient process for pick up! The crates that they use to carry their trays are perfect! Dishes don’t break, food stays on the trays well, and they are easy to carry. It was simple and made set-up easy and pretty. The ordering process was easy and I like that there are photos of what you ordered in the invoice. Linda, Chris and David were on top of all the details, removing any stress for us. They catered our wedding g reception in 2012 and now a celebration of life. It’s great to know their food quality consistency remained the great food it was years ago.

We had our wedding dinner, appetizers and bar catered this weekend. Our food was amazing and we got so many compliments. The chicken was moist the steak went instantly. But the staff really made it worth it. They kept the wedding parties drinks full and were quick to clean up plates and messes. Jonz really was the cherry on the cake at our wedding. Thank you!
That can vary widely based on the food that you order, the type of service, rental costs, etc;. We would be happy to give you a detailed estimate based on a short consultation with one of our event planners.
How far in advance should I book my event?
Please contact us at least 15 days in advance, Dates are subject to availability. For Large parties, weddings, holiday parties, and corporate events, plan on considerably more lead time. Most of our weekends book a month out or more. Summer weekends and holidays can book up to one year in advance.
What do I do if I need tables and chairs? Silverware? Plates?
We are happy to facilitate any of your rental needs or point you in the right direction should you want to handle it all yourself.
Do you do bar service?
Yes, we are fully licensed for spirits, beer & wine. We also carry liability insurance and our bartenders are professional and licensed to pour by the state of Washington.
Do you do wedding cakes?
Our focus is on bringing you great food. We have extensive experience with and can recommend some great local bakeries.
Do you charge a champagne pouring fee or a cake cutting fee?
Since we charge an hourly rate for servers and bartenders, we do not need to charge you again for this service.
How many servers will I need for my event?
Please keep in mind that every event is unique and there may be events that are more complex than others when considering staff. Industry Standards for most buffet style service dictates that you will need one server for every 30-40 people. Plated Service is 1 server per every 10-12 guests. Bar service is 1 bartender per 75-100 guests.
