  The manager here is the sweetest person. Uber eats messed up my order and were not assigning me a delivery agent and on top of that charged me for cancellation. She accommodated me instantly. Customer service at its peak. Uber eats should take classes from her.

  Mellisa is so kind, had the best recommendations and made sure we were sorted. It was such a charming and welcoming first visit. Chicken sandwich was lovely, not a fan of the slaw but I am picky about that.

  ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ We traveled all the way from California just to experience Joella’s famous chicken — and it was so worth it! But what truly made the experience unforgettable was Melinda. From the moment we walked in, she radiated that genuine Southern hospitality that Kentucky is known for. I was bringing someone who had never been to Kentucky before, and thanks to Melinda, they got to see exactly why this place feels so special. She went above and beyond her role with kindness, patience, and an energy that made everyone smile. You could tell she really cares about people and loves what she does. Joella’s is incredibly lucky to have her representing their company. Melinda, you’re a true gem — thank you for making our day brighter and for reminding us how powerful a little kindness can be. You truly made a difference in the world today! 💛🐔

  This place is like chic fila for hot chicken. Service on point. Flavorful authentic and enjoyable. Will definitely be back. Shout out to the cashier Melinda for making me smile when I needed it

  There is just nothing that can justify $11.20 for three tenders, and three tenders only. It's absurd. They're good, almost identical to Popeye's chicken in taste and quality, but nearly 3 times the price, 4 times the price if you add fries. This is why we're going broke as a nation, these companies know we're too lazy to cook ourselves, so we'll overpay to not have to. And then to ask for a tip while paying to attempt to force the customer to pay what they don't want to pay their employees, while charging obscene amounts for half a chicken breast. Start cooking at home!
