Sitting in my hotel thinking back on my experince at Joes. I still have a smile on my face. Frenchie locked in the vibe at the bar, knew exactly what we were looking for. We smashed some fresh and tasty stone crab. And hash browns. And lobster. And key lime pie. With a side of limes. Let's go 10/10 would recommend.
If you come to dine here you should ask for Roger as your server. Amazing service, friendly even with little kids, beautiful recommendations for dishes. The place was decorated nice. We also loved the uniforms. They also got a display with the fresh catches where you can choose what you like. Shoutout to Roger the best server. KLKP.
Joe's Stone Crab is a Miami restaurant that was founded in 1913 and is now over 100 years old. Their stone crabs are a popular Miami check-in spot for many celebrities. The claws are sweet and juicy, and they're delicious with a mustard sauce. Reservations are highly recommended, and they highly recommend ordering their crab and chicken fried steak. Lunch is Friday through Sunday, 11:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Dinner is Wednesday through Sunday, 5:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. (They say they're open until 10 p.m., but we arrived at 9 p.m. and didn't get seated until about 9:50 p.m. Even at 10:30 p.m., the restaurant is still packed, so if you can get a table, you might want to stay past opening hours.) You can order daily from 11:30 p.m.

The place was freezing, and I couldn’t wait for dinner to be over. Food was just okay — nothing special. The crab was served cold, and there was no real difference between jumbo and large sizes. For $270 for two, definitely not worth it. One-time experience, won’t return.

I stopped by Joe’s Crab Shack in South Beach for dinner, and it turned out to be one of those meals that just hit the spot. Sometimes, you don’t need Michelin stars — just good seafood, friendly energy, and the sound of laughter around you.
The atmosphere here is fun and casual, exactly what you’d expect from a Miami beachside favorite. The staff were quick, upbeat, and made sure everything came out fresh and hot. I had a mix of seafood (the crab, of course, is the star) — flavorful, perfectly cooked, and seasoned just right.
It’s the kind of place where you can show up straight from the beach, grab a drink, and just enjoy yourself. No frills, no fuss — just a good time.
Tip: If you’re visiting during peak hours, put your name in early or check in online — it gets busy for all the right reasons.
Joe’s Crab Shack isn’t trying to be fancy — it’s fun, nostalgic, and exactly what South Beach dining should be: a little loud, a lot of flavor, and a place you’ll always remember with a smile. 🦀🌴( Michelle ) follow me #MichelleRodriguezSuarez #MichelleGoesGlobal
