We were waiting for an hour at the new house for them.. they said they had the wrong address..they made complaints the whole time that they were miserable and would rather be elsewhere. Not professional or efficient I would not recommend.

I would not recommend this company. They were scheduled for 9 am called day before and said they had to change time to 1 pm. Truck and crew showed up at 4:45 pm, truck did not have any moving dollies or straps. Truck had no ramp or lift gate and we were told two of our bedroom dressers were too heavy to be lifted onto truck. One dresser was two pieces bolted together and the movers said they couldn’t remove bolts but my 15 YO grand daughter had no problem removing them. Then they said the pieces were stuck together, again my grand daughter was able to separate for them. Then they said they couldn’t lift onto truck. When my wife called and talked to owner, she was told they would unload truck and we could hire someone else. After much help from my son, grand daughter and a friend they finally got loaded and unloaded in our new home. Calling this a moving company is ridiculous. BEWARE

Setting up the move was easy and Brenda was very pleasant. Our move was scheduled for a Sunday at 9:00. The moving team was 1/2 hour late to arrive and when I called to check on their status no one answered the phone. The delivery when fine but the crew mistakenly left my parent’s bed frame in the truck. Again, we called the office to check on the missing frame, again there was no one at the office to respond. They ended up finding the rails and bringing them back the next day. However, my elderly parents had to sleep on the couch the first night in their new apartment. I suggest that if they are going to do business on the weekends, they need to monitor their phone for customer issues.

Highly recommended, and would readily hire again anytime! Joe Gardner & Sons has helped me move on two separate occasions, and each time has been professional, courteous, and caring of my possessions. This most recent time involved three men helping to move my pre-packed one-bedroom apartment and its belongings / furniture to a storage unit, and everything was handled properly and efficiently. They also charged a very fair price for the 3-hour job.

Recently moved with this company because I heard good things about them from someone who moved about 7 years ago. The lady who set up my move with me was very nice but we were scheduled at 9:00 a.m. and they did not show till 9:30 not a big deal for most people but when I signed my initial paperwork I was told that they wouldn't start charging me till I signed which was 9:30. I was told there's a 2-hour moving minimum plus 1 hour additional driving charge. Since they told me they weren't going to start charging me till 9:30 I assumed that meant everything started then. While we were done by noon it was a 2 and a half hour job start to finish including driving. Yet they charged me for 2 and 1/2 hours plus another hour which they're cleaning is drive time. So basically they did charge me from 9 to 9:30 commuting and apparently noon to 12:30 commuting back. I don't know many moving companies that do this. the company stands by this policy even though it confused me. Also the three men that came were very polite but showed up at 9:30 a.m. smelling so strongly of marijuana that I was a bit concerned because they were driving and lifting my belongings. And finally I had one open crate which had two pasta dishes on top packed with bubble wrap. When I unpacked there is only one. They are the only ones who moved this crate. I called about it and was told that nobody knows anything about it and they did not break it or lose it but it is gone and I know it was there. I cannot force them to admit it but basically they did lose or damage one of my items without taking full responsibility. So I'm not giving them a horrible review but I just want to be very transparent for anyone looking for a moving company. This was just my experience.
