  Better than the previous version in my opinion. Fantastic and very nice staff. Skilled baristas. Great food! Some folks may feel the need to complain about non-available items or the cost of things, But think just for a second about the state of things right now and how expensive everything is. Also, the place was actually gone, and someone reopened it! Be grateful.

  So happy Jim & Patty's is back! The coffee was good! The pastries was good! Next time, I'm getting the Black Tiger Shake. Woo hoo!

  Loved original Motor Moka! Wanted to support re-opening. Coffee drink was fine. Coffee cake is less than half the size it used to be and not even close to the quality. Server/cashier not at all friendly, welcoming or thankful.

  I miss the old Jim & Patty's. The re-opened location isn't the same. It's not as cozy. They rearranged some of the furniture. The employees are nice. The colored chalk board with items is gone replaced by a digital board. Seems too corporate. And the prices. Whoa. It's ridiculous. I ordered a London Fog tea drink, 12 oz and asked if they had almond or oat milk, which the person at the counter said yes but didn't say it cost extra nor did it list that on the digital board. It cost $6.75. Yes. It was ridiculous. I left a minimal tip. And won't go back. There are better places on NE Fremont now. This place lost Jim & Patty...and it's not the same at all. Go down a few blocks and visit Grand Central Bakery. Better drinks. Better baked goods. Nicer setting. And the prices won't gauge you.
