    (A long story, but relevant) DO NOT TAKE YOUR VEHICLE TO GET SERVICE!!! While traveling through Columbia, SC. I had some car trouble, my GMC Terrain vehicle sensor stated that my 'Stabilizer-Trak' needed service. Unfamiliar on where to take my vehicle for service. I selected to have my vehicle service at Jim Hudsom GMC dealership (which IS where I normally have my vehicle service at a reputable dealership). However, my vehicle had a diagnostic & sat at this dealership for over 30 days!! Not really knowing what was the problem??? My warrenty compamy had them to meet all of the compliances request & paid the service fees. The GMC service rep assured me that the dealership/mechanic meet all of requirement before submitting a final payment for the vehicle to be released; They (Jim Hudson GMC) service reps assured me that they had fixed the issue and finally it was returned to me (not in the same condition). While my vehicle was there for 30+ days, they never provided exterior maintenance and left the interior cabinet under the steering wheel damaged, exposed and unsecured😠. My vehicle operated for only one day before I had to have my vehicle tolled back to the dealership for the SAME condition that showed up on the dashboard previously! My vehicle remained at the dealership for another seven days for another mechanical diagnostic in which the service rep stated that she had one of her most experienced mechanic working on it. It was released to me again, assuring me that the condition was repaired. The next day when I went to start it up; the car would not turn over. I was asked to return my vehicle for a third time. I refused because, I did not trust their mechanical service; my vehicle was "re-diagnosed with 17 error codes after Jim Hudson GMC serviced my vehicle." Which meant that the mechanic did not know what they were doing. I have more error codes now then when I originally bought my car in to get service. No one acknowledged the steering wheel damaged even after I uploaded pictures. I refused to make any additional fees and per my warranty company suggested I seek a more reputable car repair shops. I have not recieved any correspondences from Jim Hudson GMC. Which let's me know that there priorities are to sale cars and NOT TO PROVIDE QUALITY REPAIR SERVICE. They are considered a monopoly car dealership in Columbia. SC

He immediately took the initiative to help me get the parts I needed, explained everything clearly, and made sure I was taken care of from start to finish.     Im very disappointed in my experience with Jim Hudson. Sunday night I researched 2026 Sierra 1500 lifted trucks and came across a beautiful truck at Jim Hudson GMC listed for $70k. After incurring about it, on Monday I received information from one of the salesman via text message. Erwin sent me a couple videos one introducing himself which I thought was a nice touch and another video going over so.e of the details of the truck. It was the 2nd video that threw me for a loop because Erwin mentions the price of the truck has changed to $109k and they have to update that price online. I called to speak with Mr Erwin after work and talk about the truck that I was still interested in but definitely not at that price. The online price now list the truck at $105k... $35k more than its original listed online price less than 24hrs ago. During the phone call he never even tried to see what he could even do on the price knowingly they falsely advertised this truck....that not the buyer fault. Mind you this is the 1st time I've ever dealt with this Jim Hudson GMC so its not a great 1st impression at all. Why would I buy a truck that you just increased by $35k!!! Im very displeased because I really wanted this truck. He didn't check to speak with a manager on it or nothing. Disappointed and they lost a buyer!

    I always have a wonderful experience when I come and get my vehicle serviced at the GMC dealership…. The customer service representative Samantha is professional… I was able to sit down in the customer waiting area where they provide coffee, tea, hot chocolate, and snacks as well as water and soft drinks… They also provide wi-Fi and television to watch however, if you want a quiet area they also provide that. Thank you for wonderful customer service…

    Poor customer service and communication on day of delivery. It was nothing like I imagined my experience of purchasing a Cadillac would be. I drove 5 hrs to the dealership only to have to wait more hours on the vehicle I was told would be ready. I ended up leaving with the car at around 8:30 pm from what was supposed to be a 4pm appointment. I only preceded with the purchase because I came so far but if I had been local I wouldn’t have taken my business elsewhere. Although Kimberly and Zanthony were great during the sales process and were diligent in finding my best fit but the closing processes failed epically and left me second guessing my decision.
