When Jerry Kelley called and said I could schedule a free plumbing inspection, I said "Why not?" I had been slapping together my own plumbing for years. The worst was the tub and shower fixtures and all piping leading to them. Two years ago I called Roto Router and had an estimate done. They charged me 70.00 just for looking at it and then gave me a quote of over 1600.00. Nope. Then I got the call. Richard ( who I can't say enough good things about) came and inspected the entire house for free and then quoted me a price of 780.00 for THE EXACT SAME WORK. Plus used Moen fixtures with lifetime warranty. I waited a week to post this because I wanted to be sure of the quality of the work. It is FANTASTIC! I highly recommend Jerry Kelley for your plumbing needs and if you want a great job? Ask for Richard.

My AC went out and called Jerry Kelly to come help and fix it. They sent out Jonathan to come look at it. He said that we needed new fan blades, new motor and some other pieces. He then went and checked our heater for some reason and let us know that via his camera he used there was a crack in our heat exchanger and that he had to shut off the gas and alert his manager. As anyone should do, we called for a second opinion and our second opinion came out and said we only needed a new motor for the AC and it worked and we had him check our heat exchanger to see if it’s actually cracked and it wasn’t. Mind you we bought the house two months ago and we had it inspected TWICE and they didn’t find anything with the heat exchanger either. BUT Jerry Kelly told us that back in the winter they came out saw a crack and told the previous owner the same BS. Let me remind you, it was inspected THREE TIMES after him and said he was full of it lying and upselling me!! Shame on you and I am reporting you to the BBB… Update 10/16/25 - Jerry Kelly called me about there Heat Exchanger and Free Furnace Guarantee after my review and wanted to schedule a time to do so in the next two days so I could talk it over. ON THAT FIRST PHONE CALL THEY HAD THE AUDACITY TO ASK ME TO TAKE DOWN MY GOOGLE AND BBB REVIEW!!! I scheduled another licensed company to come over and do ANOTHER full inspection of the system and have them take apart the full system to take a look. Guess what.. no cracks and nothing wrong with it! Jerry Kelly called me to have the Heat Exchanger and Free Furnace Guarantee scheduled. I told them not no but heck no. I explained to them that they are scamming me and I saw with my own eyes nothing is wrong with the system. I then said I will not be removing my review and once I said that they said "you will not even give us a chance to come look" I told them nope. If it is not broke I have no need to give them the chance to break it. There reviews may look great but they will do anything in their power to control them.

Disappointed. In the market to get a new HVAC system and Electrical upgrade. Saw the great reviews and like the fact that they donated to Alzheimer's foundation. Website states it service the city area and other areas around, but after speaking to someone due to their "zipcode zoning" they do not service the area I'm in. Please update website if the company is not going to service certain areas.

Furnace wasn’t kicking on at our house we just bought. We suspected it had something to do with the thermostat, we were correct. The only positive thing about Jerry Kelly is that they were able to get here the same day. Not only did they diagnose a bad thermostat, they recommended an entire HVAC replacement merely because of the age of the system and a slew of quote unquote repairs that needed to be done- none of which were in fact true. We had 2nd and 3rd opinions. tThey all said it needed none of the things listed. So the thermostat was over $400 (way overpriced). Will tried to sell us a $300 flame sensor up until he left the house. He became very pushy when it was clear we weren’t going forward with any of the other recommendations he had for us. These larger companies are nothing more than glorified salesman dressed as technicians. Buyer beware. Shop around. Get other opinions. I guess if you are in a bind then go with Jerry Kelly. They did get the furnace to work the same day. Attached is all the recommended repairs they had for us:

We became a customer of JK during the coldest week of the year in December 2024 when our furnace decided to stop running. The tech who showed up that night at 8:00PM did not leave until late in the night, and could not fix it. The next day I received a call that a different technician, who I will call the “hit man” spent over an hour disassembling and examining the heat exchanger to a point that he could take pictures of small pin holes in the heat exchanger to confirm that our furnace was unsafe. Fair enough. I said ok, lets replace the furnace. I choked on the price ($12,000) , but we were not in a position to argue or shop. We went ahead with the install. Two techs showed up to install the furnace, had great personalities, and did what we thought was a great job! Glowing reviews and all! Fast forward to August 2025. Our AC had stopped working, and we did not know what had happened. What did we do….we called Jerry Kelly. We were told that it was a catastrophic failure of the compressor. When I asked what our options would be, I was told that the unit was R22 Freon which had been discontinued for some time, and could not be repaired. What will a new system cost us? Response “Not exactly sure, but around $15,000.00”. That would have been an investment within 8 months of $27,000.00! For a 2700sq ft house…….. I instructed the tech to leave my home as I was insulted by the price, and that I was going to shop with other providers. He said there was a “senior tech” (cant remember his title) but upon his arrival, it was clear he was the “closer”. After listening to a long song and dance, I asked them both to leave. As I was walking them out, they were selling me the entire time. At this point I was done with JK. It is not about the service anymore, its about sales and getting the highest price they possibly can, “striking while we are at our weakest”. I am all about a business being profitable, but continue reading to understand my point. I began my search for a new contractor, and purchased several portable AC units for the bedrooms (remember it was over 100 degrees this entire time, went out on a Thursday and installed new on the next Wednesday). Total cost for new brand name AC system $7,000.00!! After install, on that Friday, I came home from work to find our thermostat at 72 and the temp in the house at 76. (Exactly what I came home too the day the system failed the first time!) I freaked out, ran outside to see if the condensing unit was even running, and found the entire system covered in Ice! The entire system froze. I immediately called the contractor, who asked me to turn it off and leave it off until he could come and inspect everything. This was the Friday of Labor day weekend, he was already out of town and would be back to check it out on Monday. He showed up on Monday, and when I got home I found him laying in front of our “brand new furnace”, cover off, with schematics of the circuit board reviewing something. I said, “what the hell is going on?” He said, I think your furnace was wired wrong!!! He continued that the fan is set on the low setting, which is not enough air to move the cold air over the coils and it freezes. He continued his research, and then rewired the circuit board. He enabled the furnace blower again, and after a few seconds, the blower fan roared to life! I could now feel cool air holding my hand 4’ above the vents on the first floor. It is now September 9th, and the new AC is working flawlessly and much better than before. To finish my “open letter” I will close with this; while I cannot prove it, I believe the same thing happened to my first condensing unit. I came home to the same event, set temperature at 72 with thermostat reading 77. Shortly after arriving home it stopped working. BECAUSE THE FURNACE WAS WIRED INCORRECTLY RELATED TO THE BLOWER CONTROL OF THE AC!! So not only did JK try to fleece me for an additional $8K, it is the probable culprit in the original Compressor failure……..it froze up and blew up. NEVER AGAIN JERRY KELLY…..NEVER.
