  Went in for a shampoo / style/blowdry. I have shoulder length think hair. Carli in Burleson salon took care of me. It was the worst shampoo I’ve ever had. I could barely feel her. Shampooed only once even though I told her I had massage oil and dry shampoo in my hair. Could not feel her hands touch my actual head. My hair is still dirty. Then she went to blowdry with a round brush and talked about how thick my hair was and did I ever wear it wavy. No I only wear it straight. I told her she could use a paddle brush since i realize my hair is thick. She still used a round brush. Long story short she did not get my hair dry. It was half wet and frizzy on top. With round brush it should be smooth and straight. When the salon hires new stylists they should require the stylist to give the manager a shampoo and if they can’t give a good shampoo then they shouldn’t be hired. 45.00 hair dirty and half wet. Ugh.

  I have very short hair. Dropped in for a trim. Pharah came out to help me and put me in a chair. Lady at from desk said a trim was same price as a hair cut $60. I thought pricey but agreed to it. She washed did a little cut and blowed dried. She put a little of mouse on my hair before blow drying. When I checked out they charged me $108. MY $60 TRIM COST ME $108. Right now mostly mad at myself for paying it. 🤦‍♀️🤦‍♀️ that was absolutely so wrong on their part. I will put this review on all my social media. I don’t want anyone else to be taken advantage of.

  I am so happy that I chose to go into the store today! I had a chunk of hair that has been matted for at least a month. Ms. Lisa did a amazing job! Great service, great conversation! I'm definitely going here every time I get my hair done now! Thank you ❤️

  Received a hair cut from Paula today. I explained to her several times how I wanted my hair cut and my anxiety around previous hair cuts that had gone terribly. I showed her reference photos, as well as demonstrating with my hands how much I wanted cut off. Paula did not listen and cut my hair how she wished to, resulting in basically (in my opinion) the female equivalent of a bowl cut. Went home and cried about it, then returned to the salon twenty minutes later to request a refund (her rates are extremely high), only to experience the most combative customer service of my life. She spoke condescendingly and aggressively toward me and my mother. She also refused to stop speaking long enough to allow us to explain our side of the story to the manager she called over. Overall, she created a hostile environment and I intend on never returning to a JCPenny hair salon ever again. Beware of receiving a cut from Paula, she is also the salon manager.
