  30OCT25 ~ Wow! Where to start?!? It is no wonder no one goes to some big box stores anymore. I went to J.C. Penney's a little after 2 o'clock today to buy some drapes. I am not that knowledgeable about things about drapes. I needed to talk to someone about drapes who know about drapes. I went upstairs to find the drape department. I walked around the entire second floor and there was not one single person to be seen, no customers, no employees. On my second trip around the 2nd floor, I did find the drape department but still there was not a single person to be seen. Eventually a woman walked out of back room. I asked her if there was someone in the drapes department. She said, "No, she has gone home for the day." I said, "JC Penney's opens at 1100 am, doesn't it?" She acknowledged it does. I asked when the drapes woman would be working tomorrow as I did not want to miss her three-hour workday again. She said that the woman would be at work at 1100 am. I sure hope so...

  I was able to find the jacket I wanted in my size after checking six other stores first. I purchased 2 suits as well because I liked the cut. The staff was very friendly and helpful. I spent less then half of what I planned to pay for these items

  Not what it used to be. Not impressed with selections. The store is how so it's not like I'd want to linger and shop.
