Went in to return an online order. Another associate started talking about a customer in line as the associate helping me was processing my transaction. The associate helping asked twice about my return because she was engaging in conversation with the other associate and wasn't paying attention to what I was saying.
So rude.
This store is so dirty. Bathrooms are disgusting! Please gut this place. It's so depressing to go into this store. The shoe department is always is such disarray that you can't find anything. Our area needs a store that respects is customers enough to give us a clean, positive shopping experience and a store that values it's customers' spending power.

Store manager was rude when it was close to closing time. My disabled nephew needed to try on clothes to make sure they fit and the was more concerned with telling us they were closing. They even turned the lights off while we were standing in line to pay. It’s no wonder JCPenney is struggling. What happened to taking care of the customer. Closing at 7pm on Saturday is pretty dumb.

Went to buy some jewelry for my fiancés. When we asked the jewelry workers if we can check out as they were just standing there here they told us per words “When we are working the case with customers* you need to go to the checkout counter.” Felt like we were not important or deemed as actual customers. Especially when they were just standing there with no customers. Really disappointing. Almost not bought the items. Should be customer focused not rude.
