Worst customer service I've ever experienced. Walked into the store with my mom at around 6:55 and was stopped by the manager and was rudely told that the store closed at 7 and that they were closing up. My mom thought she had a reward that expired today and knew what she wanted, so we quickly grabbed the item and hurried to the cash register to check out - all still within that five minutes. When we got to the register, the manager was having a conversation with the one cashier so we had to wait for them to finish their conversation so that we could check out. While we're with the cashier (who was incredibly sweet and patient with us) at 6:58, the manager and another associate locked the store early and locked us into the store and loudly complained about how they couldn't wait for the store to be closed and they knew they weren't supposed to lock the doors early but both were in agreement that the doors should be locked. They also turned off the lights in the store while we were actively trying to check out and tried to rush us out. We asked when they started closing at 7 instead of 8 and we were rudely told that they'd never closed at 8 before and we must've been thinking about the Stone Briar Mall location. Both the associate and the manager on duty were catty and talked down to us the entire time. The associate even coldly telling us "And just so you know-every business on the strip closes this early. It's not just us." The cashier was the only friendly one, taking her time with us. Even when we were leaving, as the manager unlocked the door to let us out she made sure to tell us to "go straight out" as we were walking out of the store. The manager was a tall woman with curly blonde hair and the rude associate was a young blonde woman. I've worked in retail for over a decade and I'm currently a retail manager. I understand that it can be upsetting to have customers come in right before close, but that's no excuse to treat someone so poorly and essentially harass them until they leave. It's especially ridiculous to turn the lights off in the store when there are still customers in the building. Very disappointed with the customer service. Do better.
