- RLRochelle LewisOct 20, 20251.0Thought I would start shopping at JCPenney. I opened an account and received a welcome coupon where I would get $10 off my first purchase of $10 and up. I went online and found some cute fuzzy slippers, added them to my cart, added the coupon and then I realized it was going to cost as much in shipping as the coupon was so I replaced that item with a different pair that I could pick up from the store. Then I realized the coupon was no longer in my cart. It had attached itself to the item I had removed and would not let me re-add it saying it had already been used. I thought it was a simple error so I went into the store and told them the situation and their response was simply that is how it works and there is nothing they can do. So I put back the item and went out the doors never to return again...
