  Everytime I come here there's always long lines and only one section of the store is a check out area. The third floor has no check out area even though there's multiple areas around

  I was a long time customer of JCPenney (since the early 2000s), and I had to stop shopping here because of the lack of staff. There is ONE cash register on every other floor. There is ONE dressing room on every other floor. The day I visited, I could not return items and purchase items at the same cashier. I was running all over the store, one floor to purchase clothes, another floor to try on clothes, another floor to return items. I got so frustrated, after I completed my returns I just discarded the clothes I was going to purchase and left. I remember when this store had MULTIPLE cashiers on a single floor, and dressing rooms on every floor. JCPenney will soon be a relic of the past, joining Sterns, Kmart, Caldor, etc.

  The line at JC Penney is very long. Normally I would have left but needed the purchase that day. This could easily be a 30 minute wait. Im number 16 on line in the 2nd floor. No checkout on the third floor and the first floor checkout is even longer! This is substandard. Once 20 people on line with 3 people on the registers.

  They never have sufficient staff. Return and exchange is also regular cash out. The lines are always ridiculous long for no reason. There is always alot of elderly people standing on line for long periods of time. They gotta do better.
