    ⭐️ 1 STAR – TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE EXPERIENCE JCPenney at Columbiana Mall – Store #2908 Visit Date: 10/28/2025 @ 1:02 PM | Associate: 0807 This was one of the worst customer service experiences I’ve ever had. I stood at the jewelry counter for no less than five minutes while the lady behind the counter completely ignored me — not even a hello, a glance, or an acknowledgment. It took a lady from the sales floor (not even the jewelry section!) to finally come over and ask if I needed help. When the woman behind the counter finally decided to move, her attitude was beyond rude. She acted like she didn’t want to be bothered and clearly didn’t want to sell the watch I was asking about. Her lack of professionalism and complete disregard for customer service was embarrassing for a store like JCPenney. When I asked for her name, she refused to give it and even laughed it off like it was some kind of joke. After purchasing our items and leaving the store, I couldn’t stop thinking about how disrespectful that interaction was. So I went back to speak with the manager — and that only made things worse. His attitude was just as careless and dismissive, showing that he didn’t care at all about how his employees treat customers. If this is the type of customer service JCPenney allows, it’s no wonder they’re losing loyal customers. I’ll gladly take my business elsewhere where respect and professionalism still matter.

    Slowest lines I’ve ever experienced every time I’ve ever been here, & there will only be two registers open for the entire store! Update-I brought a $280 return & was told with the new update you don’t get a receipt so I have no way to prove I brought it back. That’s jacked up! I was just given these receipts they use to take a photo of!!! What does that prove!

    El area de perfumes siempre esta vacia, el area del hogar siempre esta regada y los empleados asignados a las cajas registradoras siempre estan de mal humor. Jcpenney es mi tienda favorita en Puerto Rico pero aca es horrible.

    Recently my husband and I were in JC Penney shopping for clothes for an upcoming trip. Once we made our selections we headed to a register with only one other customer in front of us. There was an issue with a coupon this customer wanted to use, so a manager was called. While waiting for the manager, the customer offered to step aside so my husband and I could be waited on. The employee's response was “They can wait”. Well, we didn’t. We promptly set the merchandise aside and left to shop elsewhere.
