    Bought a gift on September 24th and was told 2-3 weeks for sizing. It has been over a month. Still no phone call. Went to the store, have been given the run around 2 times. Asked for a refund and was told they can't refund the merchandise they lost or don't have. Highly disappointed would not recommend. Was told come back to the store hours later to talk to a manager, didn't even take my contact information or try to help resolve concern. 0 stars. Store 2775 : transaction 4634 : 9/24/25 : 1:41pm.

    10/22/25. Zero star actually. This will be my last visit ever again at JCPenney Portrait. The only reason I may give a try again is if Brionna S the photographer with a dread and bunch of piercings is laid off. She is a bad representation of JCPenney and will definitely ruin the portrait section is she continues to work there. This is my second experience with her and it’s always horrible. She kept screaming at me and my husband. I don’t think she likes her job because she needs to be mentally checked and given a thorough customer service education. She has no patience for babies and toddlers. She charged us an extra $25, no grace whatsoever. The pictures were not good looking and she messed my baby’s cloth so his picture was ruined.

    Very frustrated.The store left a security tag on my purchased item and the nearest JCPenney to me is over an hour away. Since then, I’ve tried calling the store during business hours on different days, and not once has anyone answered the phone. Because of this, I now have to waste my own time and gas money to drive all the way back just to fix a mistake that should have been caught at checkout especially since the tag should have set off the alarm when I left. No help from JCPENNY customer service either just telling me I need to get in contact with store or return.

    I travel from Egg Harbor Township NJ to Deptford, NJ because they closed the JC Penny near me. Worth the drive!!
