Exceptional flavors and quality for the food. The chef has an amazingly refined palate - highly skilled and deft balancing of flavors.
His cooking skills are also top tier. We had a dozen dishes and there was no fault with any of them - brussel sprouts were crispy and not bitter, octopus was buttery tender (!), scallops were beautifully silky and melt in your mouth, mushrooms were deliciously seasoned, beet flavor was delicately balanced with honey and vinegar, aioli was incredibly airy... Just incredible.
I'm fussy and sensitive eater, have eaten in hundreds of restaurants over thirty years across the planet from street vendors and mom & pop hole in the walls to high end eateries. I would rate the meal I had tonight in the top five, no question about it.
Prices reflect quality of ingredients and skill of the chef. Portions are perfect for tapas, and the food is surprisingly filling. Worth the cost, no question.

This place is a gem. Atmosphere, service and food are simply perfect. Everything we ordered was so fresh and delicious. I am looking forward to go back and keep trying the other items on the menu. Great, great experience!
