I love this store . Mary is always so welcoming . However, my recent experience with your front desk was less than great . Had a stack of items to purchase and they missed one . I went back the next day and someone else must of saw it on the counter and purchased it ,which was fine except when asking for help the person working in front could have cared less she appeared annoyed.
Sucks that the owner is selling it just to be knocked down for thirty six condos. What a shame to be losing such an Historic building in our wonderful LaGrange!

What a wonderful place to spend an afternoon! There are lots of fun and unique items to see here. Some things are over-priced, but that keeps you from spending too much money! Plus, some of the booths have sales. The staff are super-nice and helpful. The bathroom is clean and they have a changing room for trying on clothes. There are two wings of the building and a basement. If you're looking for an enjoyable antique experience, this is your place! Shop used! Shop local!
Great staff. Jack and Jenn were very helpful and responds quickly to emails. I just LOVE my vintage silver aluminum Christmas tree and rotating color wheel. Back in my younger years - the memories!

I really want to like this place, because it's located inside a beautiful old building, has lots of vendors and is right in the middle of downtown LaGrange.
However, I really can't recommend this place because the prices are just absurd. Everything was priced probably anywhere from $5 to $15 above what it was actually worth, and actual deals were real scarce. This wasn't just one or two booths either. It was a problem across the entire store. All of the vendors pricing was completely out of whack
I think the vendors really swallowed the idea that just because something can't be found at a current day retail store, means it's an antique and is thus valuable. There's a decent selection of stuff, but honestly it also leans slightly more towards the junky side
A polyester knit shirt from the 1980s is not worth $40, neither is a DVD copy of a lame 2000s comedy worth $10. I understand that there's rental fees and profit margins and all that, but these prices are absolutely insane. There were a few things I wanted to buy, but ultimately had to put away because I wasn't going to get ripped off.
I guess It's worth a visit if you're already going to be in LaGrange, but I wouldn't make it the sole reason you're going to be there. Save your money
