Situated steps from Lake Michigan on land that once held the World’s Columbian Exposition of 1893; the golf course opened six years later in 1899. The only eighteen hole golf course in the CPD Golf portfolio, the course meanders through the overall footprint of the 500 acre Jackson Park site and includes mature trees and large greens that all offer a challenging golf experience. Par 5’s reaching 560 yards and par 3’s extending to 200 yards require golfers to utilize every club in the bag.
We were rushed by an employee that had a family member playing behind us. We had been waiting on the group ahead of us all day, but she didnt bother trying to speak with them as well. Didn't get to enjoy our last few holes as we were being watched and rushed by the employee the whole time. Really disappointed that we spent a decent amount of money as this was a birthday celebration.

Value, course is in good shape. But don’t play here on Monday unless you like 5+ hour rounds. They have tournaments, outings, school events and they can’t seem to manage the tee-offs or pace.

The people here are super friendly, both the folks who work there and the players. We had a fantastic afternoon on a relaxed course. (I'm not a golfer so I don't take this as a review of the course itself, read other reviews for that).

Plush greens make for solid putting. 9-12 on the stimpmeeter.
Friendly staff, clean facilities. Pull cart $5. Golf cart available.
I was told by the shop manager that this golf course has been there 120+ years.

Payment system was down when I played yesterday. Was pressured to leave my card to pay as system was sipposed to be back before end of round. Never came back online and when collecting card did not receive a receipt. This morning I wake up to a $190 charge.
What kind of scam is this?
