  Our family recently had the pleasure of taking a scenic float trip on the Snake River with Jackson Hole Whitewater, and it was truly a fantastic experience from start to finish. The entire process, from checking in to the bus ride and final pickup, was seamless and well-organized. Our guide, Taylor, was absolutely amazing. She was incredibly knowledgeable and made the four-hour trip so much more than just a boat ride. She expertly pointed out all the wildlife along the river, and we were thrilled to see so many eagles. Taylor shared fascinating details about the eagles and their habitat, making the experience educational as well as scenic. We were impressed with how smoothly everything went, allowing us to simply relax and enjoy the stunning views and the wildlife. We would highly recommend Jackson Hole Whitewater to anyone looking for an enjoyable and memorable float trip on the Snake River.

  Excellent Snake River float that had some fun quicker areas! Our guide, Zack was fantastic. Very informative on the surroundings & wildlife.

  we LOVED the scenic float!! Highly recommend booking this experience as part of your Jackson trip. A great and relaxing way to see the Snake River/Tetons. Plus, you learn so much. We loved our guide Oliver. Kid friendly too. Great for all ages

  I was traveling solo and decided to go white water rafting with this company. From start to finish, everyone was so helpful and it was an absolute blast. I had never been white water rafting before! They gave me a wetsuit to wear with no extra charge. I went in the morning and the wetsuit kept me nice and warm. Chris was our guide in the raft and he was excellent. The snake river is so beautiful and we saw a few bald eagles. Even the bus rides to and from were fun. Perfect day! Thank you!

  We went in early August on an early morning float. We mostly saw birds and one deer crossing the river. I suggest going out knowing it's a float without the expectation of seeing large animals and they be pleasantly surprised if they show up. The front desk crew was great. They are a well oiled company with bespoke access to the river which definitely sets them apart from the other companies. I would definitely recommend this company, but if you want to learn about the area, ask how knowledgable your guide is. Our raft guide was truly skilled at maneuvering the raft which made for a pleasant float. We were hoping for an engaging conversation about the history of the area and/or the formation of the mountains, but we didn't really get that. The guide was not a geologist or historian. When asked questions he shared what he knew. There was a lot of banter with the guests on the boat which filled the silence. The guide said some his previous trips were done in silence because no one asked questions. There was some blueberry cake on the raft that was apparently for everyone, but he kept taking bites of slices and putting the partially eaten pieces back in the container, so we passed. I think our guide was finishing up and relocating so I would not deter you from making a booking.
