Great local place, it was highly recommended from our rental car place from the airport and after traveling all morning it was exactly what we needed of good food and friendly atmosphere!

Ate here just once, employees work hard, but the prices are a bit high for being across the street from a Dennys that has $6 specials Mon-Fri. The food was adequate but not equal to price. My opinion of course. Two person price was around $47 which is just a bit pricey. Service was excellent though.
What a gem. The inside is old school coffee shop, no matter what color the inside is painted you can feel the history in this place and thousands of filled coffee cups. As such, the "bones" inside are well broken in, but lend to being comfortable. The staff/service were top notch! So friendly and attentive. The food was great, huge, more-than-you-need portions. And it all tasted great. But the star of the breakfast was the SCONES! They were more like biegnets, or funnel cake batter, than they were like the dry, sweet American biscuits, but liked them better this way. Absolutely recommend.
I really wanted to like this place, but the experience was disappointing from start to finish. The service was poor — my girlfriend’s toast never came out, we weren’t given water, and we only had one napkin for the whole table. Nobody came back to check on us. There were very few servers, and they were trying to bus tables and wait on guests at the same time. Whatever money management thinks they’re saving on staffing will end up costing them regular customers.
The food didn’t make up for the lack of service. My orange juice wasn’t brought with my meal, we had no forks on the table until I asked, and the carne asada was so tough I needed a steak knife just to cut it — even then, it slid all over the plate. The biscuits and gravy were rough and forgettable. Overall, it was edible, but nothing worth coming back for. Honestly, I’ve had better at a convenience store.
Between the bad service and below-average food, I can’t recommend Jack’s Café if you’re looking for a decent breakfast without hassle.
