  I am very pleased with the services I received from J & W Heating and Air & Plumbing. I had a new air conditioning unit installed that also included duct cleaning and UV lighting for my filter. Everything was completed with excellence; from the sales rep, Mr. Ian Gilbert to the technician, Mr. Pablo Contreras. Mr. Ian Gilbert explained the process and gave me a reasonable price quote. Mr. Gilbert was courteous and on time for our appointment. Mr. Pablo Contreras is truly an asset to your company. He was always on time, courteous, and extremely professional. I will highly recommend your company, Mr. Ian Gilbert and Mr. Pablo Contreras to anyone reviewing my comments. I am extremely pleased with my new unit!

  Mason C. Did a terrific job inspecting my old hvac system and presenting to me all of the options available on a new system including replacing 43 year old leaking and dirty metal ductwork and more. The photos he took in the attic where the handler is located allowed me to see in detail the real condition of the old system and he took great care to address all parts of the system. Mason encouraged my questions and answered all of them completely and openly. I was shocked to learn he noted a plumbing pipe which might have been a problem for me if it was old and caused a leak which could cause a lot of damage in the attic into the ceiling of the room below, should it fail. He even called his company And sent them a photo to look at and get their feedback. I have never had a previous Contractor be so thorough and his evaluation of my Property. Mason presented several choices for me to consider on a new system, and then walked with me through these options In detail to find out what was really most important to me. In the end, this company is for me. I am so comfortable with the fact that they are a very reputable local Jacksonville company of over 50 years, that offers the best in systems, warranties most current air quality equipment, well Trained personnel, Finance plans and much more. I’ll do another review once the new system is installed, but expect it will be another five star review. Caran Jones.

  Absolutely outstanding service!! For those readers who don't need more than two sentences: 5/5 - will use again. For everyone else read on... J&W sent Dan I. to our home (August 2025) for a regular servicing of one of our A/C units. It was originally purchased/installed by another company and J&W had taken on many of their former customers when the company up and disappeared. Dan was thorough, friendly, neat, professional, and honest. He checked every aspect of our A/C unit and provided a full report on its condition. Dan did a great job cleaning the compressor. During the course of his servicing, he used the front water hose and when he was done coiled the hose back up so neatly that my wife gives me the stink eye if I don't put it back as well as he did. Dan offered additional services without any pressure and provided meaningful suggestions. We are happily adding our second A/C system to our maintenance plan. Here are some other reasons I like J&W: *Locally owned! I'm not a FL native, but Jax is now my home and I like to support local business. *Veteran owned! I'm a veteran too, so I'm biased. *Fair pricing I didn't bat an eye about adding the second system. But the value you get from the customer service makes it totally worth it. Dan is the kind of service professional that wins loyal customers. The only problem for J&W now is that he has set our expectations, so we will be disappointed if we don't receive Dan-level service in future visits.

  Our great experience with this company started with Justin, the project manager who patiently waited for his turn as there were two other HVAC companies that came to give us a presentation. He was the last but got our business as he presented their product and services clearly. He explained the features of their unit simply and gave us a very reasonable price with the best warranty. He promised us the dates and time when the units will be installed. And true to his word, Brayden and Jorge arrived promptly. These two technicians are the most polite and respectful crew you can ever find. After introducing themselves and explaining the scope of work they were doing; they immediately went to work. We saw two young gentlemen working very skillfully and meticulously installing what we thought was very intricate. They checked everything, never even took breaks except a quick lunch and did not leave until they were sure that everything was perfectly done. They cleaned up at the end of the day and ensured that they do not leave any mess behind. I am very impressed. These three gentlemen made such an impact. Because of the goodwill they have manifested, you are worth a five star review.
