Compared to the Marietta location, this store’s service was disappointing. I visited yesterday evening and was not greeted upon entering. When I asked a staff member (woman/light skin/African American) a question, she seemed visibly annoyed, which made the interaction uncomfortable.
The same associate later checked me out and appeared agitated when I needed to exchange a few items. She initially processed the return incorrectly and told me I would receive store credit—even though I hadn’t used store credit for the original purchase. I had to ask her to re-ring the transaction properly since the items were intended as gifts, and I wanted to avoid future issues with exchanges.
I also asked if she could check another store’s inventory for a specific dress size, and she curtly responded that they “don’t check other store inventories.” That seemed like a ridiculous policy, especially for a brand like J.Crew. I ended up sitting in the store and calling the Marietta location myself, where a very pleasant associate immediately confirmed both sizes were available. I left and made my purchase there instead.
With service like this, it feels like this location doesn’t value customer business. The staff appeared uninterested, unhelpful, and poorly trained. Unfortunately, I won’t be returning or recommending this location.

This store has beautiful cloths and a great vibe. It's clean with everything laid out nicely.
My experience is an excellent example of why hiring the right people is worth the time it takes to do so. Every associate that I encountered were so genuinely pleasant and helpful.
Lee greeted us when walked in the sweetest tone, told us about the sale, offered assistance, and didn't try to upsell or ride us for a purchase.
@ J. Crew- Cindy is an asset. I could tell from the 5 minutes that we spoke that she is passionate about being there. Her positive attitude was so infectious. She too did not try to guilt or pressure me into buy anything.
If you can tell I hate that or the other extreme when associates can't be bothered.
Daylen was working the register on that crazy Easter weekend. He was just so patient, pleasant and helpful. I briefly considered working there part time, but I need to stay married 🤣🤣.
Big kudos to that team 👏🏽 !
I generally don't write reviews but I was so impressed with this team and the cloths.
