  Do not work here! I worked at the Jefferson Commons J. Crew. The associates get along great but dealing with Sarah (store director) and Sharon (manager) made the environment unbearable. They have poor characters and I even wore a mask to conceal my face. They let their insecurities and flaws run their life and are intimidated by others when they want and do more for themselves. Sarah is not a good leader: she constantly waits last minute to put schedules up, has poor hiring judgement, no communication, talks shit (when she is the last person who should be) and then plays victim when confronted, sold a client’s dress that the client came in wearing, allowed a manager to stay at the job when she didn’t lock the front and back doors on multiple occasions, is racist to associates and even customers, excuses Sharon’s prejudices as well. I have always been a hard worker and I know my worth and they see it as a threat. If there is not real change to their characters or firing, then the store is going to have a high turnover rate or even lead to the store’s closure.

  Please move the rack near the door. Every time I picked up a dress the sensor beeped because the rack is so close to door: Very embarrassing.
