When I asked an employee about different color options for a tie, his immediate and dismissive response was to tell me to shop at Banana Republic. His comment was rude and assumed I could not afford to purchase a product there. This negative interaction caused me to leave without making a purchase. I found much better quality and a far more pleasant experience at Charles Tyrwhitt, where I ended up buying two ties.
