- RBRebecca BeyerSep 23, 20251.0The store staff must have recently changed. The two women who were there when I went in are actually unpleasant and unhelpful and not classy. The check out woman asked me if I wanted a garment bag for the $800 suit (umm of course) and used no pant hanger just pants balled up the pants in the garment bag. Such a change from the decades long friendly and helpful staff of Jcrew king street.
- SDSuzy DCBSep 19, 20251.0Was in there on Sept. 18 and though the lady that helped me was super sweet. The next day, Sept.19, I made a special trip to this J. Crew and was so disappointed . The manager at about 11 a.m. who helped me (after the first girl had NO idea how to order a pair of shoes) told me that they were only an additional 30% off and not the 40% off that was shown in the store. The other J. Crew's I frequent will honor the online price and then give me the additional that the store is offering--which at that time was the 40% additional off. I made the trip to downtown Charleston and had to find a parking spot since King street is so busy and the manager with dark hair and glasses on Sept. 19 would NOT honor the additional 40% off. I was so disappointed and annoyed as it was a hassle to get there. I am a gold passport member with many orders, and I told her that. She did not do the "right" thing and therefore I will NEVER recommend this store to anyone. 0 stars!! Poor customer service and not at all customer focused!!! So, over $8, J. Crew lost a sale and a customer and gained negative feedback. Good one..J. Crew Charleston!!! :(
