Bought some full Priced items. Clerk: “Have an email with us?” Me: “I’m not sure. But it’s ok.” Clerk: “give me your email (cuz we love that personal data!) and we give 15% off”… Me: Gives her one of my emails. . .
Clerk: “oh. You’re in here already. So I won’t be able to give you 15%, but it will be easier to return your items!”
Me thinking to myself: “Am *I* the nut job here? Should I give one of my many other emails just to save $30? What do other lunatics do in my situation?”
How stupid is this business to begrudge a whole 15% and risk my excessive and frivolous spending that I always do on clothes? Welp, that was my last purchase at J. Crew. And that’s ok. Probably better for me and the ol’ wallet.
But if you must, Hot tip: look in store, buy online and find a discount code. Yea, you’ll wait for shipping but the state-of-the-art in store experience that you can always rely on in the mall will have to forfeited. Dang. (That was sarcasm)

POOR quality CUSTOMER SERVICE especially if you're BROWN skinned. I'm of East Indian ancestry and I've been to this shop just 2-3 times... every time is the same. The 2 ladies there (one for sure a store manager) was very rude and condescending and contrastingly kind to caucasian customers there at the same time I was. J Crew, I highly suggest you invest some money in training your Salt Lake City "crew" on what racial equality, diversity acceptance and respect to fellow humans is. You've lost a customer that has the most important color on the planet, GREEN DOLLAR bills!
