The associates at this location are not friendly at all. It feels awkward shopping here because they act like you don't exist. I also find it odd that their store hours are so drastically different than the mall drove 40 minutes to get here just to find they closed at 6 when the mall closes at 9.

Simply the BEST J Crew store I have visited! I’ve been a fan of J Crew for over 20 years. Timi, the amazing Manager, and her staff are great! I have seen their interactions with other shoppers while there and they go above and beyond.
I’m very glad that I found this gem of a store!
- to say the manager there is “horrendous” is completely false. I live near Troy and I will travel to go to the Ann Arbor store BECAUSE of the customer service. It’s also obvious that her staff are well trained and knowledgeable. She clearly has a great rapport with her staff.

I have only been here 3 times. Two out of the 3 times I was treated less than. 1st time I was treated as if I did not belong there. 2nd time was great. However I had a return. It was accepted. 3rd time same item, 1 week later, but different color, I was told that I could NOT return there bcse my item was from jcrew factory. I explained that I was just here and did a return (yada yada). I was told they have new people and they should not have and apologies I won't make it to factory bcse they're abt to close. I will have to go another day. 🫥 For me that was a lapse in customer service. In my industry we would have apologized and then so as not to inconvenience the customer, we would have accepted the return (as obviously it CAN be done-the computer accepted it) but explain that we would not be able to do so in the future. I did not receive that courtesy, I had to get to the other store when I could. I do not live near either store. So it was an inconvenience. My bag said jcrew. They use the same bags I was told. I was also shown how to identify on my tag that the item came from jcrew factory. It was Not obvious. I've made purchases from both online so I had no clue that I was at the wrong store. So 3 stars for lack of customer support.
