  This J Crew store is amazing! Amazing service and the set up is oddly relaxing, sort of as if things aren’t “done up” in a warehouse causal way that doesn’t put pressure on the shopper. Very unlike the j crew at Rockefeller for example. The manager and everyone who works there is so positive and helpful, and ENGAGED. They’ll chat you up, offer suggestions, and really help you try out things you wouldn’t think to try. Sometimes you’re in and out fast, but other times you’re looking for inspiration, something fun, cool outfit ideas, and you don’t want ppl from Madewell acting like you shouldn’t try to have a real conversation with them. You want someone to cheer for you, and brighten up your day. I’ve never missed at this particular j crew shop. It’s got amazing energy.

  Had such an amazing experience shopping here! I came in to return a few items I bought online and tried on shoes while there, and the person who brought the shoes mentioned a sale that would apply even if I ordered items they didn’t have in store; then the person at the register patiently gave me credit for my returns as well as ringing up items I showed her on my phone, all so I could get a better discount — ultimately with the credits and the discount I barely paid anything, so I can’t imagine they were making much in commission, but they treated me the whole time like a very important customer. A wonderful experience! Hope to shop here again soon!

  Great shop in a quaint part of SoHo right by Balthazar. Jonathan gave us excellent and very patient service…. thou the tote bag I was looking for was not available.
