  Update: I received a call from store management a few days after my visit. They apologized for the situation. This review is updated from 3 to 4 stars. For a flagship location, the service at this location is lacking. I made an appointment online a month before my visit as I was looking for two Black watch straps, one for my vintage IWC Portugieser and one for my husbands newer version. This info was stated when I made the appointment online with the ref. numbers to both watches. We have authorized dealers where I live, but I wanted to go directly to an IWC store. When I arrived at the store we were assisted by a young lady who was nice enough. She helped my husband with his watch. He found a Black leather strap and while they replaced the strap no one offered us anything to drink while we waited. For me this is a basic courtesy for such a store. When I asked about a strap for my watch she says that vintage straps take a few weeks to order and they had none in the store. I was confused as this was the exact reason I came to the store. When I mentioned to the women this was the reason I made the appt and came to the store no acknowledgment was made. Once my husband strap was changed she brought it back with the POS machine. While we were sitting and my husband was putting the watch back on she places the POS next to him and says “When your ready”. For me this was a bit rushed and very awkward. All in all the service was okay but for a flagship boutique not at the level I would have expected and not even at the level of service from my authorize IWC dealer. When we left the store my husband mentioned they didn’t even clean the watch after the changed the strap.

  By far the best IWC Boutique I´ve been to. The hospitality by Zoey and Calvin was overwhelming. Their attention to detail and knowledge about all the watches is impressive. Both knew I would not buy anything (because of high import taxes back to Germany), but treated me like one of their top customers. So I ended up with buying at least a beautiful strap for my 5002. =) The whisky is great, too. ;-)

  Great non pushy sales people. However, boutiques do not offer discounts as authorized dealers do. They try to compensate with free gifts like a free strap, but this never comes close to the savings you would get from am authorized dealer. Unless you are looking for a limited release, browse the boutique and learn from the informative staff, but buy elsewhere.
