This business employs the rudest people to answer and schedule appointments. They are slow to respond and incompetent to add to the misery. Stay far away from them. Haggis is a much better choice if you want fast courteous service at a fair price. Enough said.

I am quite disappointed with my experience working with Islandwide Appliance. When my high-end refrigerator broke down, the technician came and ordered the inverters and main board I needed. The technician came back (after no-showing the day prior) to install the parts and rushed out when complete, neglecting the fact the refrigerator portion had not started cooling (the freezer portion did get fixed). When I called Islandwide to address this, they ordered the Display Board I needed SIX DAYS LATER. Three weeks pass and when I inquire about the status of my order they tell me the part is on indefinite back order and may take MONTHS to arrive. Now after $1,400 I am stuck in limbo with no refrigerator, and no compassion from their agents to find an alternate solution or come back for a second opinion, being told it’s a “waste of time.” Unfortunately there aren’t many high-end appliance service providers in the area to choose from, but I would strongly recommend staying away from Islandwide.
Very disappointing experience. The company showed a serious lack of customer service, repeatedly failing to follow through on promised call backs. A technician came out to address an issue with the freezer and ice maker on my new Monogram refrigerator. Unfortunately, the attempted repair only made things worse—the freezer became inoperable. When I reached out for a follow-up, they couldn’t offer an appointment for more than two weeks. I had no choice but to seek help elsewhere. The most frustrating part of it all was their dismissive attitude and refusal to take responsibility for their failed attempt at solving the issue in the first place.

This company repaired my wine refrigerator. Replaced the light switch and main switch. They told me to order a light bulb from ULine which I did and the light is still not working. I have called three times since 6/24 asking a Technician to come out and resolve the problem. Each time I was told someone would get back to me and they have not. I paid over $ 650 and ordered two parts myself. I was told I had a one year warranty and the light switch would work when the light bulb was replaced. Very unprofessional company.

Absolutely the worst company I’ve ever dealt with.
I’ve used Island Wide Appliance multiple times, but this last experience was beyond unacceptable. I paid $2,067.34 (wildly overpriced) to repair my wine fridge, with a $500 deposit on April 2nd. The return was scheduled for April 23rd—but due to a one-day delay in Zelle (because of a technical issue), they canceled the delivery and hit me with a $500 “cancellation fee” that was NEVER disclosed anywhere. If I had known that, I would have paid another way immediately.
They’ve been rude, dismissive, and completely unprofessional ever since. It’s now May 27th, I've long since paid the remaining balance, and they’re still telling me no one can return my fridge for another week.
This company is dishonest, disorganized, and completely lacking in basic customer service. Do yourself a favor and stay far away.
