The food was great, the atmosphere had a cool 20th century vibe and the wait staff was caring and attentive. I would have expected the food to be more expensive, good quality food! Also, I forgot my wallet and the owner called me to let me know. This saved me a HUGE hassle as I live 2 hours away and wouldnt have notice until the next day! Overall we had a really enjoyable experience! I would recommend the Iron Works.

Straight up. Without question. This is my favorite restaurant in RI. Period. The grill is unmatchable by any other restaurant this state has to offer, due to it's flame, it's smoke and season. Every dish comes out as consistent as the last visit. Personally I love the Salmon. I love how they change the ingredients with the seasons, everytime is consistent as the last. The staff is always friendly and attentive. Everytime we go here, it's always an experience. Looking forward to the fall Salmon dish this year and every once in awhile, I'm good for that Wagyu burger, as you also can't get a better flavor on a Wagyu burger than what that grill has to offer you. 5 stars all the way. Looking forward to my next visit

As a local, this place is trying to be something it’s
Not. First time coming here was the other day, we walked in on a pouring rainy Sunday, the place was half empty and was asked if I had a reservation (it was only 2 of us). I actually chuckled and asked if he was serious...ended up sitting at the bar even though there was open seating and no one waiting I guess they were expecting a rush? After listening to a crying baby for 10 minutes we put drinks in I ordered a knobb creek neat and was 100% under served I got a 1.5 once pour instead of a double. Ordered the braised short rib and for 35 dollars it was completely flavorless and the potato portion was laughable also..since when is this dish served with green beans lol I don’t leave reviews much but this place is awful, as someone from Warwick don’t waste your time go to longhorn your experience and food will be better.

We had a disappointing experience during our visit. My dad chose to pay the bill online, as the restaurant offered both online and in-person payment options. After completing the payment, he stepped out to the car to put our leftovers away. When we walked back inside the hotel, we overheard our server talking to the front desk, claiming he hadn’t paid. My dad immediately showed proof of payment, which should’ve been enough — but the situation felt awkward and uncomfortable. Do better.

We went to Ironworks tonight, and while the food and service were initially good, our experience took a shocking turn. After finishing our meal, my husband paid the bill online — a payment option the restaurant clearly offers.
Moments later, after he walked out to put our leftovers in the car, he was followed out of the restaurant and into the hotel lobby by staff who wrongly accused us of leaving without paying. The waitress claimed she was told by other employees that we had walked out, yet she never checked the computer system to verify payment before confronting a hotel front desk employee about us in public.
This was not only embarrassing and unprofessional, but completely avoidable had anyone taken a moment to confirm the facts. It’s incredibly disappointing that a restaurant known for its good food would allow such a shameful and humiliating practice to occur.
We paid our bill properly. We did nothing wrong. Yet we were treated as if we had. Ironworks — you owe your guests better than this.
