My kids just love Interstellar. Nate, the head coach and the owner, puts his soul in what he's doing and kids feel that. My older one (9yo) is in the team and he's always motivated and just loves the classes. I like the balance between the push to the better competition results and having fun. My younger one (4yo) just loves the fun hanging out there and jumping around.

I enrolled both our kids (ages 5 and 2) in gymnastics class and attended Saturday classes for about a month and a half. The kids overall enjoyed it and both could participate at the same time. The owner later suggested moving our 5-year-old to a more advanced Tuesday class and assured us our 2yr old could attend at the same time. After switching within a few classes the instructors told us our 2yr old was “too young and not ready” (even though the class is listed for ages 1-3). He’s a typical energetic toddler and me or my husband were present in every class to help keep him focused. When I brought this up to the owner instead of addressing the issue, he said both of our kids “don’t follow instructions” including our 5yr old who is attentive and loves gymnastics. This was inaccurate, offensive and disappointing, especially since he admitted he hadn’t seen them himself that class (while I did). The Tuesday classes were also very overcrowded compared to Saturdays. If safety or engagement is a concern, the gym should adapt its setup, not blame children for being age-appropriate. What made it worse is that the owner never followed up after that conversation - not to clarify or apologize. We canceled our enrollment that same day. It’s disheartening to see a business handle families this way, making excuses instead of taking responsibility. We’ll be taking our kids somewhere that values honesty, respect and a true understanding of child development.

Interstellar is such a welcoming gym. Whether it is your first time ever stepping into gymnastics, or a seasoned pro, you’ll be treated as part of the family right away. Nate is an incredible coach (and owner). Extremely dedicated, passionate, and patient. If you’re looking for adults gymnastics that actually includes coaching (not just access to equipment and open gym) then this is your place.

This is a wonderful place with knowledgeable and friendly trainers, active practices and personal support for each child. My kid loves it. Highly recommend.
