An amazing experience from start to finish! Our first annual meeting in the Big Easy was a success, thanks to the staff's outstanding hospitality. As an ex-hotelier, this is a very polished property, job well done! I would totally recommend this property, whether you're traveling on business or pleasure; this is the place to stay, CLEAN and FRIENDLY! A+ to Amanda Whittington and Sophia Clay for being exceptionally responsive to all our group's needs; both were a pleasure to work with and ensured every request was met. THANK YOU ALL!

LOVE THIS PLACE! Very serene. Lush decor. Coffee in the bar in the morning (self serve) is the perfect place to slow down and take it all in. Had a drink in the evening and our bartender was fun and engaging. Everything about this hotel is so peaceful. The art (Bansky!), the soft music and the fragrances are well designed. The staff are so chill and friendly and helpful. LaSandra and the other reception personnel always had a smile! We will keep returning.

The experience we had at International House was deplorable to say the least. We were there for a work conference and our travel team did not book one of our colleagues a room (not the fault of the International House), but when requesting to accommodate they did do so for 2 nights of the 4 we needed. We requested from Ms Leslie that if a room became available to please call to extend for the two nights . Again we are traveling together 1 vehicle, same flight everything. The next morning Chris was very friendly & knowledgeable & so made the request of him too as we left. About mid day Chris called and left a message that they indeed had a cancellation and to give the hotel a call back to book. (We missed the call because again we were at a conference). Upon calling back Leslie answered an questioned why we wanted to speak to Chris and basically said he does not know what he is talking about and proceeded to LIE and say that a room was not available. She was rude from the first and should not be forward facing in the hospitality industry if that is her demeanor to her guests. This was strike 1. We did get our colleague booked at another hotel. Everyday we received our Valet rental car back there was sodas/wrappers etc that did not belong to us in our car for $42 A DAY! again Unacceptable. Strike 2. Strike 3 came on the night before we left when we pulled to the front of the hotel in the middle of the street because none of the Valet cars were moved an waited not 20 but nearly 40 minutes before one of the guests just moved their cars themselves. Again for $42 a day we should not be sitting in the middle of the street to get out the vehicle. We had a 5 am wake up to be to the airport for our flight and this was an exhausting experience. Working for hospitality driven company I know the expectation that you have for your beautiful hotel, but your Staff (Leslie and Valet in particular) need WORK! I would not recommend International House currently.

I absolutely loved this hotel! From the moment I arrived, everything about the experience was incredible. The hotel has a modern, stylish atmosphere that feels both welcoming and cool. Every detail, from the decor to the overall vibe, was thoughtfully put together. The staff truly made the stay unforgettable. Everyone was courteous, professional, and went out of their way to help. I want to give a special shoutout to Sondra, Amanda, and Sophia—they were all amazing and made sure I felt right at home. Their kindness and attention to detail really stood out. We stayed in the panoramic king room, and the views were absolutely stunning. Waking up to the city skyline each morning was such a treat. The plush bedding made the room feel even more luxurious and incredibly comfortable. The bar was another highlight. The handcrafted cocktails were some of the best I’ve ever had—beautifully made and full of unique flavors. It was the perfect place to relax and enjoy the evening. The location is unbeatable. The hotel is right next to Canal Street and just steps from the French Quarter, which made exploring New Orleans so easy and convenient. If you’re looking for a hotel with amazing service, stunning views, and a modern, vibrant atmosphere, this is the place to stay. I’m already looking forward to coming back!

The staff at the International House Hotel were very pleasant and friendly, but unfortunately, our stay was disappointing. Our room was never cleaned from Thursday to Sunday, and we had to repeatedly ask for towels and toilet paper that were never brought to us. The room lighting was also extremely dim, making it hard to get ready or feel comfortable in the evenings. The hotel itself has nice character, but the lack of housekeeping and poor lighting really took away from what could have been a great experience.
