This place was highly recommended by staff at UNMH but I don’t know why. My infant daughter was hospitalized with an illness that left her partially paralyzed and thus obviously regressed in gross motor skills. Inspirations didn’t even get her in for an evaluation until she had been discharged from the hospital for a month. When they finally evaluated her, they spent as much, or more, time evaluating things that had no relevance to her situation—like social milestones, and her ears (I assume this would have some relevance if we were pursuing speech therapy, which we were not) than they did her gross motor skills. They then said she was age appropriate for her gross motor skills (she was absolutely not, and the PT my daughter had started seeing while we waited for an evaluation agreed with me). This was definitely not the right service for illness/injury recovery, and it seemed they only had time for children with severe or comprehensive delays.

My daughter has been receiving services for almost a year from here. The staff are caring and knowledgeable. We have seen a huge improvement. Highly recommend.

Took way too long to do anything for my son, lacked communication and accommodation for over 2 months. He was only seen once. Disappointing.
