wowww, it was so yummy. has to be one of the best indian cuisines in saint paul yet, have been trying to find a new place and so happy this one opened up. we got the butter chicken and chicken tikka masala and both came with basmati rice. Amazing flavors and the spice level medium was perfect! We also got the veggie samosas and the garlic naan, both were 10/10. food so good i can’t wait to try more from them!! 🫧🙇🏻‍♀️

A 5% "online platform fee" was charged that is NOT disclosed or detailed prior to paying. So you get a surprise total amount that is actually charged to your credit card. This practice of "hidden fees" that are not disclosed prior to booking/paying is ILLEGAL in other states (not sure if it is here in MN as just moved here), but even if it isn't illegal here it is shady and wrong so won't be back due to this. I purchased a large order so this 5% fee ended up being a large amount for some sort of an "online fee", so had I known about this charge prior that was to be applied to this large order, I could have ordered over the phone or something instead....

Fantastic Indian fare. They just opened and only have beer at this point, so don't let the "Bar" in Bar & Grill (or the "Grill," for that matter) fool you. The food is knock-out delicious, and the atmosphere keeps the old Chips Clubhouse coziness. I was too busy devouring my food to take photos. Our group ordered goat curry, lamb & vegetables, the appetizer tray, biryani, shrimp masala, and more than I can recall. All 100%. I will return often!

We've ordered take out twice and have been very impressed both times with the quality of the food and the service. We don't know what authentic Indian food tastes like, only that everything we've had from here been good to fantastic. In our most recently order, we ordered 11 items to share over several meals. Other than a single inconsistency with spice level (really was minor, and still better than I would expect from any restaurant, especially with 11 items in the order), everything was a good temperature, well-cooked, nothing soggy or otherwise iffy. Take out order was well-packaged.

✅ This place is quickly becoming a regular spot for us. Ok, the (very slight) negative things; The place is a little sparse near the host stand, which leaves it lacking in the atmosphere, but they are new, from what the host told me. Also, the name has “Bar and Grill” but I asked for a beer while waiting for to go and was told they do not have beer or alcohol yet. Again, maybe new and still waiting on liquor license? 🧐 But!! The food, however, is fantastic!! My wife got a medium chicken tikka masala, I got a medium lamb makhani. Both meals were rich in flavor and just the right heat and so aromatic. Their Naan was warm and the perfect texture, perfect for dipping in the meals 🤤 Small note, I always get a small pinch of fennel on my way out of Indian restaurants (great for breath and digestion) and really like their choice of fennel. Tye mix has some star anise and some candied star anise or licorice or something mixed in tye fennel and it’s pretty good!👍) I also like to use their website for ordering. I’ve ordered online twice and found it easy to navigate and quick to order, and I think I saved like $4 by not using a gig app. Save yourself some money by not using UberEats or DoorDash, and save them some fees? Sounds good to me! I’m a fan of Tandoori so I’m eager to try that Tandoori Chicken next 🤩
