I had my 8 month old Yorkie neutered yesterday at Indian Ctreek Vet hospital. They were very good about reminding me of the appointment, informing me exactly what would be done, and the providing me with the details for the post follow-up. My dog is doing very well just one day later - he is eating, drinking, and wanting to play! I just wish they could come up with something other than "the cone" to keep him from messing with his wound!

The vets and staff here are so amazing and kind! I went to this office years ago when it was under another name but Dr. Pilcher was working there. Now he and Dr. Ludwig see my fur babies! I’ll never go to another clinic! My Toby & Stitch (RIP❤️)

We have been bringing our animals here for years and its been alright because our animals have been fine just needing shots. Until we decided to board our pit lab mix. He is very afraid of fire works. He had been put on all the natural stuff and then finally medication by Dr Ludwig. But the medicine made him more aggressive. She never told us that until after. Then we say we need to do something about the 4th. She said you could board him here and if he gets that bad we can sedate him. I was extremely worried because he becomes a different dog chewing through doors, kennels, even breaking stuff and chipping a tooth that had to be removed. So she said you have nothing to worry about. I said can you please put that in his chart. She said yes that she would put to sedate him if needed which was a last resort. When I went to check him in the staff acted like they had no idea what I was talking about and said that's unusual we dont sedate dogs for this. I said I dont even want to but was told this would be better for him. Then she looked at his chart after I told her to and she saw the notes. She said don't worry they can't hear the fireworks in here anyway. I said okay feeling relieved. I left him there 3 days because our neighbors get crazy with fireworks. So when I went to pick him up she said he did great. But he wasnt even excited to see me, he seemed out of it. I thought maybe they had to give him something. On the drive home he was drooling and lethargic which isn't normal. I called them right away and the front desk lady said no they didn't give him anything and no problems accept he barely ate. Okay you could have told me that at check out. She said let me get you to the back to talk to the staff that handles this. I finally talked to someone and she said that nobody was even at the kennel at night to monitor the dogs and they hadn't given him anything. I was pissed. I said how do you know if he was in distress then! This is the whole reason I boarded him! She said im sorry but yes he definitely heard the fireworks. So I said your telling me I basically send my dog to be locked up and forced to listen to fireworks away from me after you guys told me different! He was not the same dog for almost a week. This vet is horrible!!!!
