⭐☆☆☆☆ 1/5 Terrible Experience – Never Coming Back! I had a really bad experience at Imperial Biryani & Cafe. The customer service was awful — the staff were rude and didn’t seem to care about customers at all. It took forever to get our food, and when it finally came, it was cold, greasy, and had no real flavor. The biryani tasted stale and the meat was dry. When I tried to complain, no one listened or tried to fix it. Honestly, this place doesn’t deserve even one star. Save your money and go somewhere that actually cares about good food and good service.

I recently visited Imperial Indian Restaurant with a few friends for lunch, and honestly, it was quite a disappointing experience overall. We ordered Mutton Biryani, Chicken Mandi, and Paya Soup, expecting a good Indian meal, but most of the items didn’t meet the mark. Starting with the Paya Soup, it was priced around $20, which is extremely high for what was served. The portion was huge, but it was almost 80% oil and only 20% soup, making it very difficult to eat or even enjoy. The presentation was poor too — it came in a rectangular container that wasn’t practical for dining in. The taste and texture didn’t justify the price at all. I’d rate it 2/5 at best. The Chicken Mandi was average. The rice flavor was okay, but the chicken pieces lacked proper seasoning and didn’t have much taste. It felt like the meat wasn’t marinated enough. I’d give it around 3/5. The Mutton Biryani was another letdown — there were only a few pieces of mutton, and while the biryani had some aroma, the overall flavor was just fine, not special. I’d rate it 2.5/5. Beyond the food, the cleanliness and service also left a bad impression. The tables were not cleaned even though the restaurant wasn’t busy — there were only about six to eight people dining at the time. We had to wait quite a while before someone came to wipe the table, which shouldn’t happen in a nearly empty restaurant. Overall, this was one of the least enjoyable dining experiences we’ve had around the Dallas area. With better hygiene, reasonable pricing, and more attention to food quality, this place could improve a lot. But as of now, I’d only rate it around 2.5/5 and wouldn’t recommend it for those expecting a satisfying Indian meal.

We really liked the food the first time we visited and decided to go again. However, during our second visit, the goat pieces were a bit undercooked. We mentioned it to the manager, and he kindly offered us a new biryani as compensation, even though we had only tasted a small portion. He was very polite and helpful. This place is definitely worth trying, especially for the prices they offer.

We tried the haleem and mutton biryani, and both were absolutely delicious! The haleem was rich, flavorful, and had the perfect texture. The mutton biryani was aromatic, with tender pieces of meat and well-balanced spices. Great portion sizes and excellent service too. Highly recommend this place if you're craving authentic hyderabadi, satisfying food!
