They are just like any other coverage company: delay and deny payment until you eventually give up on trying. Before signing up, I confirmed my procedure would be covered when the time came. I also called prior to scheduling the procedure to confirm coverage eligibility. Both times I was assured it would be a shareable procedure. Shocker that after everything was said and done, it was considered to be "medically unnecessary" by their nurse. Even after sending in all medical records and statements requested by Impact, their decision was unchanged and, because they never return a phone call after saying they will call you back, the balance was due to be sent to collections. Again, save yourselves the time and money and either stick with self-pay or look for a different company.

After going through breast cancer and being on traditional insurance I have had such a breath of fresh air with Impact. From prescriptions to telemed to being affordable and user friendly.
