The South Lyon store is located at Pontiac Trail and Eight Mile Road, four miles south of downtown South Lyon between 96 and M-14. Theisier Equipment Co. was purchased by Bader & Sons Co., in 2012. The store was moved to a better location to serve customers in the metro Detroit area. In May of 2021 Hutson Inc., purchased the dealership’s 10 Michigan stores and service facilities. Primarily a lawn & garden (turf) store, the pros in South Lyon sell and service John Deere ride-on mowers, compact utility tractors, STIHL handheld equipment, BOSS and Ariens, including parts for most makes and a full-service facility for professional and property owner maintenance needs. We proudly serve Brighton, Lyon Charter Township, Northville, South Lyon, Whitmore Lake, and the surrounding Detroit metro area.

- FSFrank StuetzlerOct 27, 20251.0345 lawn tractor engine repair of a broken camshaft gear. delivery was overpromised and underperformed by a week. while the repair itself is ok so far, the carburetor adjustment was doubtful so after 20 minutes runtime, the engine stalled and refused to start. Redoing the carburetor, I found an o-ring not installed, they failed to tighten a screw at the carburetor where I used an allen bolt instead of a hex, hex was tightened but the allen bolt was hand-tightens so I guess they did not find a fitting metric wrench. Turned out that a lever for the carb throttle came off that closed the throttle so I guess that wasn't installed properly. Also found that they messed up the thread in the engine housing by brute forcing the screw in at a slightly off-angle. Worst was they they didn't route the gasoline line properly, it was hanging off the bottom of the tractor near the steering gear ready to be caught by something on the ground.
