    Some rocket scientists decided it was a good idea to do away with the parts counter, while the receptionist has 30 feet of counter that no one uses, the parts dept. gets a kiosk style station. So when you take your broken part in so they can try to identify it or a core, you get to stand there and hold it while the parts guys look it up, cause there is no space, then you get to juggle the new parts and old ones while trying to pay or set it on the floor. What were they thinking? Oh yeah, they weren't. If anything, they should have made the original existing counter bigger and even more customer friendly. I guess you just drop dirty, oily old parts on the floor and let them worry about the mess.
