My bill was $341.00 and my credit card was rejected ( possible fraud ). As a customer of 15 years, I offered $270.00 (that I had on me) plus they could hold my billfold containing drivers licence and misc, other until I came back with the additional $70.00. No matter hoe i pleaded , it was "no full payment, no car" I took a cab home and back with the $70.00 -- their last words to me--"We'll pray for you"

This was more accurately my roommate's car and he is the one who used them, not me. His name is Ken. Now, this is what happened: Ken had major troubles with his car and brought it in to them. Around 3,000 dollars later, they claimed it was fixed. He drove off. Two hours into his drive to South Carolina, the exact same problems he'd been having began. He managed to get the car to South Carolina where he took it in to be repaired: Another 3,100 dollars later he has a car that's repaired and he can drive. The South Carolina mechanics didn't provide codes, but they're being obtained now...however, when the EXACT SAME PROBLEM shows up less than a day after the car has been fixed, even if you CLAIM the issue didn't show up on your report...you don't stand back, make excuses, bank the 3 grand for work that was not completed to satisfaction, and say "too bad, so sad." The problems with the car left him driving unsafely. What would have happened if they failed and caused a major accident? He could have been killed. He could have killed others. And to take an unsafe car on a roadtrip because the mechanic you JUST got your car back from didn't completely or properly repair the damage...that's just irresponsible on the part of the mechanic. The very least they should have done is reimbursed him for labor. Even just keeping the money for the parts, the labor was not completed properly, regardless of their excuses. I would be VERY cautious about trusting these people. My roommate is not a wealthy man and cannot afford to throw 3,000 dollars away for poor work and reliability. Can you?

Great shop. I have had many people confuse this shop with Hansons Auto in Leesburg. If you have a bad experience you definitely went to the wrong shop. HUTSON AUTOMOTIVE is a high quality shop! Hope this clears up and confusion on who is who.
