  The people that work around there are very nice. The noise level when you're living in the apartment is not good am when you ask for the security to come. They don't come and if you need parking and you're living over in that area. Good luck trying to find a spot. Nobody does need thing and there's no stickers or anything to go on your car, but other friends. And relatives whatever perk there with them and you can't get a perfect spot i also want to add Eric and Amani.Do a great job here.He goes above and beyond, and so does she they stay after hours, sometimes?And it is great i'm so glad we have them

  I just wanted to come up here and just give a shout out to Eric. As soon as I walked in the leasing office I immediately felt WELCOMED! He easily made my choice that fast. I will be doing business with Hunter Mills very SOON! Thanks Eric!!!

  I do not recommend these apartments. They are very old and ragged. I could hear everything from walking, stomping a dog walking or running above me. I could hear my neighbors talking, phone ringing, them coughing and snoring. It wax the worst year of my life I never rested. They have a water leak my water bill was extremely expensive every month. They have roaches and the manager or management is horrible we had like 20 different managers or no manger at all. No one to fix my maintenance problems. My apartment have mildewed and mold. The apartment above me had a flooded and they did nothing my ceiling was moldy. It was disgusting. When I moved out they are trying to charged me for regular wear and tear for carpet and the moldy mildew tub 700 each so 1400 for things they should have fix. I'm so upset again do not rent from here or you will be living in HELL!

  When I first applied to Hunters Mill, I was warmly welcomed by the asst property manager, Imani. At that time , I was very discouraged and defeated because I could not find anywhere to move that met the standards I was seeking. Well, Imani gave me hope within the first 5 minutes of meeting her. She was incredibly sweet and her positive energy was truly infectious. Throughout the entire move-in process, she was consistently helpful and communicative. Even when she didn’t have immediate answers to my questions, she made sure to follow up after doing the necessary research. She was extremely patient with me, always remaining professional, and compassionate..Her dedication truly made a difference. Eric, the property manager, has also been a pleasure to work with. While I did experience a few challenges within the first couple days of moving in, Eric was really professional, and empathetic. He took full accountability, provided reassurance , and made every effort to accommodate me. Maintenence, Mike and John were fast acting, very professional, empathetic and worked hard to resolve my concerns. It’s very rare that you find staff that are committed to providing good customer service, for the best customer experience. The apartment itself is immaculate—I absolutely love it. House searching in Virginia Beach is not easy, and my experience was extremely frustrating with the exception of hunters mill.. it’s so many outdated properties, with astronomical rates for rent in this city.. well my apartment at hunters mill is brand new, modern, and very demure ☺️.. stainless steel appliances, granite counter tops in my kitchen and bathroom, extremely spacious walk in closets in all 3 bedrooms, and my favorite is my walk in closet in the master bedroom-GORGEOUS , you just have to see it for yourself. The move in was costly, however I moved in while they were offering a move in special, so that helped a lot. I feel confident that my family and I will be comfortable during our time at Hunters Mill as I work toward my goal to become an homeowner. My kids also asked me to share that they love their rooms! So far, everything has been great. I’m genuinely grateful for the warm welcome and support I’ve received.

The property manager, Imani, deserves special recognition—her dedication and kindness stood out immediately. She asked thoughtful questions, provided an abundance of valuable information, and, most importantly, was incredibly patient with me due to my injury. Her support made all the difference, and I am truly grateful. Beyond the exceptional service, the community itself is stunning. The landscaping is well-maintained, creating a serene and welcoming atmosphere. Its location is another highlight—perfectly situated near all the essentials and just a short drive from the boardwalk. Whether you're looking for convenience, beauty, or top-tier customer service, Hunter’s Mill Apartments delivers on all fronts. I wholeheartedly recommend this community to anyone searching for a place to call home.
