I have been on several homeowner boards through my years and can tell you from personal experience homeowners trying to "govern" their neighbors and keep neighbors within the covenants does not work. Hughes is professional and has been outstanding in helping our board with legal, covenant, property, tax and other issues our homeowner/property board has faced. As a Board Member for 10 years of our HOA I get to see even more of the activities of Hughes Properties and their interactions with all our homeowners. In all cases they treat each homeowner in a fair manner and deal with the abusive ones in a professional but curtious manner. All Association Management companies get homeowners reacting to compliance notices negatively. This one goes out of its way to ensure all are treated fairly and are quick to offer assistance to ensure equitabile resolution of any complaint. Their advice to our BOD is thoughtful, solid, and knowledgable. In my humble opinion you cannot find a better Association Management company.Remember that to keep a community looking good - someone has to enforce the covenants. The BOD could do this themselves and get the complaints and may deal with the complainers in an unprofessional manner, or they can hire an Association Management Firm with trained and certified professionals to deal with homeowners in a professional manner.
