  I have been to this owner-operated business on several occasions. I have personally met and spoken with the owner, Jay. He is a GOOD PERSON, and his establishment is unique, charming and my go to place for silver rounds when I am strolling about the Rice Village.   We inherited my dad’s coin collection after he passed. My financial advisor sent me here to get values and see if we wanted to sell. Mark was extremely helpful and happy to help us out. Can’t recommend this place enough!! And they have tons of old coins to buy and jewelry and Rolexes too! Come check it out!

  I had an extremely unpleasant experience at Houston Numismatic Exchange Inc. The staff member, Mark, was outright rude and condescending from the moment I walked in. He repeated over and over that he had no time for my questions and treated me like I was a nuisance rather than a customer. I simply asked to take a quick photo of my own coins for my records, and he acted like I was asking for the moon. I felt so uncomfortable and belittled that I left in tears. If you value basic courtesy, I’d strongly suggest you look elsewhere.
