I have been here several times, the food quality is always good, the portion is always large, and I can always take it home. It is a great place for family and friends.

Went here for a company lunch outing and overall had a great experience. The food and service were both solid—our party of 8 was well taken care of, and everyone enjoyed their meals. Our chef was friendly and entertaining, doing all the classic hibachi tricks and gags. While not quite as impressive as some chefs I've seen at other Japanese steakhouses, he still made it fun. The only downside was that they were actively training staff at the table directly behind us during our lunch, which felt a bit out of place and slightly distracting. Otherwise, a good spot for group dining.

This place used to be amazing. My family has been coming here for over 10 years, and it’s always held a special place in my heart, until today. The portion sizes have noticeably shrunk — I ordered the steak and shrimp combo and received only 8 small pieces of steak and 3 shrimp. To make things worse, I learned that during Saturday lunch, they charge nearly the similar price as dinner but exclude soup and vegetables. I left very disappointed. I understand times are tough with inflation, but cutting back on both quality and quantity isn’t the answer. It feels like the experience and value that once made this place special are now gone.

I really want to give this place 5 stars because I do think they have the best seasoned hibachi in Columbus, but I can’t because as a vegetarian it’s really difficult to eat here. They have a vegetarian option, but the vegetables are cooked not only with the same utensils as the meat, but at the same time, sometimes even overlapping in location on the grill if the meat finishes and they move the vegetables around. I’ve been to hibachi (not in Columbus) where all of the vegetables are cooked first and then the meat is cooked after, to avoid contamination, and I really wish they would do that here, or at least use different utensils and not move the vegetables into the areas where meat was cooked. If you eat meat and this isn’t a concern then you will be happy with this restaurant (it’s my husbands favorite hibachi in Columbus). If you are a vegetarian like me just know that there will be cross contamination, and the level of it differs slightly by chef.
